The Custom movement we experience today was born out of the Second World War. Harley-Davidson® played a pivotal role by modifying many of their bikes to meet the demands of the armed forces. These bikes quickly became beloved by riders. After the war, motorcycles grew in popularity as the global economy began to recover, and riders started customizing their bikes to express their individuality and stand out from the crowd.

About H-D™ CUSTOM KINGS ASIA

  • H-D™ Custom Kings is a competition that brings together Harley-Davidson® customers, enthusiasts, fans, dealers, and custom builders from across the Asia Emerging Markets. Whether you’re modifying an existing Harley-Davidson® or building a new custom model, you’re invited to enter. Participants can compete in one of three categories:
    1.) H-D™Owners, 2.) Custom Builders, 3.) H-D™ Dealers. The best 3 from each category will be selected for the finale – KING OF THE KINGS at the Asia Harley Days 2024™ (15-16 Nov, Singha Park, Chiang Rai, Thailand). The grand winner will get the prized trophy from H-D® leadership, and also the sponsored trip to the annual H-D™ festival in Milwaukee, Homecoming 2025.

  • We will also have market-wise winners (#1) in each model segment. Winners to get separate trophies and certificates. Markets: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, India.

  • H-D™ Model Segments: Grand American Touring, Adventure Touring, Cruisers, Sport, Open category.

  • Score additional points if the built model belongs to the following ‘key models’: Softail™ Standard, Street Bob™, Nightster™, Nightster™ Special, Pan America™, and Pan America™ Special.

  • Results will be decided based on public scoring and a jury appointed by Harley-Davidson®. T&C apply.

  • Wild card entries: Custom Winners (#1) from the below-listed events in 2024 will qualify to go to KING OF THE  KINGS at AHD 2024 directly
           •   H-D™ Custom Kings at Bangkok Hot Rod Show 2024
           •   H-D™ Custom Kings at Art of Speed Malaysia 2024
           •   H-D™ Custom Kings at Indonesia Kustom Fest 2024
           •   H-D™ Custom Kings at National H.O.G. Rallies in Asia Emerging Markets in 2024

How to earn the score:

  • Post your bike's qualification. H-D™ Asia will confirm via email and feature it on hdcustomkingsasia.com.

  • The audience can visit the 'Featured Bikes' section of the website to vote for their favorite custom motorcycle.

  • To vote, users must provide their name, email address, and contact number before submitting their vote. Each email address can vote for one bike at a time. Duplicate votes for the same bike from the same email will not be counted.

  • Participants can promote their bikes by sharing a QR code on social media and encouraging others to vote.

  • Each vote equals 10 points.

  • If your bike is classified as one of the ‘Key Models,’ you will receive an additional 10 points.

  • A jury from H-D™ will score your bike out of a maximum of 50 points.

  • There is a special prize for the post with the highest engagement on social media. Be sure to post your custom build and tag @harleydavidson_asia, using the hashtags #HDCustomKingsAsia2024 and #HarleyDavidsonAsia. The top post from each platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) will win a prize. H-D™ AEM’s social media agency will handle the tracking.
